Kenai River Salmon Fishing

Your guide will meet you at the designated boat ramp depending on the section of the river we are fishing.
I am one of the few guides who fish the entire river.
As you head out for your exciting day on the World-Famous Kenai River you will be fishing out of a 21ft Willie Classic powerboat, powered by 50 HP Yamaha Four stroke. I will show you our beautiful river, and some stories, and history that goes along with it. You will be using the finest tackle available. Lamiglas Fishing Rods, Shimano Reels spooled with Power Pro Braided line and Gamakatsu Hooks
Imagine fishing for 8-9 hours and reeling in King Salmon averaging 30-40 lbs with a chance at 50-70lbs or even a new world record! Silver fishing for 8-10lbs fish with fish commonly 15-20lbs that are constantly jumping. They are out of the water as much as they are in the water. Or fishing from the bank for the sockeye salmon averaging 8-12lbs, that fight like a freight train. We also have world class rainbow trout that commonly break the 8-10lbs range, some up to 20lbs! Jeff will take you to the best section of the river for the best chances to catch King Salmon, Silver Salmon, Sockeye Salmon and Trophy Rainbow Trout. We also have pink salmon (humpies) by the millions only on even number years. The sheer power of pulling one of our several species of fish is incredible and simply a once in a lifetime experience.
At the end of the day we will drop you off at the boat ramp, photos will be taken, and fish will be filleted and bagged. You can have them vacuum sealed, frozen, and packed in 50lb fish boxes ready for airline travel.
